Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Sidney, OH, is seeking a manufacturing associate to support roll-formed accessory production. You will operate equipment, perform packaging, read SOPs, and ensure quality while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Base pay is $20 per hour with a $2.50 shift premium for night shifts. Weekly pay, day‑1 benefits, and on‑demand pay are offered. The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll‑formed equipment and inspect parts.
• Pack, label, and merchandise cartons for transport.

• Assist with waste segregation and safe disposal.
• Support overall production needs and safety rules.

Base Pay $20 per hour Plus $2.50 Shift Premium for Night Shift

Day Shift: 6:00am - 6:00pm rotating shift

Night Shift: Mon-Thursday 6PM to 6AM

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Roll Form Associates are responsible for all aspects of roll‑formed accessory production, including tooling setup, machine operation, part inspection, product packaging, and material handling activities
• Complete all tasks as assigned by production department leadership
• Read, understand, and follow the steps outlined in SOPs for each task being performed
• Deviations from established procedures are permitted only with supervisor approval
• Take prompt corrective action to eliminate safety hazards, minimize equipment downtime, reduce scrap generation, and correct deviations from quality standards
• Complete required documentation including production records, quality checks, product labels, and manifest transactions in a complete, legible, and accurate manner
• Operate equipment to produce cartons in the amounts specified by MTO ticket, Kanban card, or product delay card, as appropriate
• Perform established quality checks on parts at required intervals to ensure all product specifications are being met
• Assemble cartons, pack pieces, and load sealed cartons onto dollies for transport to the warehouse
• Properly manage all wastes generated, including segregation of recyclable materials and segregation of hazardous wastes by type
• Take steps to minimize the amount of waste generated
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safe and efficient operations

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing experience highly preferred
• Must be able to read, write and perform basic math skills as job duties require
• Must have Forklift Experience
• Must be able to use a measuring tool
• Must possess common sense, positive attitude, and demonstrate excellent attendance
• Must be quality and safety conscious, a team player
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to interact with people
• Extensive standing, frequent bending, sitting, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, twisting and walking
• Required personal protective equipment, tugger, overhead crane, carts, dollies and some hand tools
• Safe work performance is required from each Associate at all times
• Proper discharge of safety responsibilities is an integral part of each Associate’s performance
