Job summary

Verisma is seeking an onsite Release of Information Specialist III in Milwaukee, WI to manage complex ROI requests with accuracy and efficiency. The role requires EMR fluency, attention to detail, and the ability to train other ROIS.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• RHIT certification preferred.
• 5+ years medical records, ROI or HIM experience.
• Strong HIPAA knowledge and regulatory familiarity.
• Proficient in MS Office and EMR software.

Responsibilities

• Process ROI requests using Verisma software.
• Read and interpret medical records, forms, and authorizations.
• Serve as escalation point for HIPAA-related issues.
• Train and mentor ROIS; update training materials.
• Maintain HIPAA, HITECH and state-federal compliance.
• Provide exemplary customer service and professional interactions.
