Verisma is seeking an Onsite Release of Information Specialist II (ROIS II) in Adel, GA to initiate the medical record release process by inputting data into Verisma Software. This role operates at a Verisma client site in Adel, GA, reporting to the Manager of Operations, Release of Information.

The ROIS II performs duties to ensure accurate and efficient processing, providing professional service and maintaining confidentiality in HIPAA-regulated environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of medical record experience.
• 2+ years of clerical/office work experience.
• HS Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• HIPAA knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process medical ROI requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Process requests utilizing Verisma software applications.
• Support the resolution of HIPAA-related release issues.
• Organize records and documents to complete the ROI process.
• Read and interpret medical records, forms, and authorizations.
• Provide exemplary customer service in person, on the phone and via email.
