Job summary

MRO is seeking an ROI Specialist to provide on-site support for Release of Information requests at client locations across the United States. The role involves reviewing requests, entering data into the ROI On-Line system, and ensuring HIPAA compliance.

You will handle phone inquiries, assist walk-ins, and process physician requests while maintaining accurate records and timely service. Base responsibilities include logging, scanning, and cash handling where applicable, with a focus on accuracy,

Qualifications

• Experience entering data into computer systems.
• Ability to work independently and meet production goals.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail in handling patient records and requests.
• HIPAA knowledge is preferred; medical terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Determine records to release by reviewing requestor information per HIPAA guidelines.
• Answer phone calls regarding ROI issues.
• Assist walk-in customers requesting medical records and log data into ROI On-Line.
• Process requests from physician offices and fax information as needed.
• Log and scan medical record requests into ROI On-Line database.
• Comply with site policies and regulations.
• Handle and record cash payments for requests where applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
