Job summary

MRO provides ROI support at client sites for patient medical record requests and ensures HIPAA-compliant processing. You will review requests, identify records, and coordinate data from available sources while maintaining accuracy and privacy.

The role requires routine data entry, customer inquiries handling by phone or in person, and logging activities in ROI On‑Line. Ability to work independently and meet production goals is essential at client facilities nationwide.

Qualifications

• One or more years experience entering data into computer systems.
• Ability to work independently and meet production goals.
• Strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Proven dependability.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• HIPAA knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determines records to be released by reviewing requestor information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and obtaining pertinent patient data from various sources.
• Answers phone calls concerning ROI issues.
• Responds to walk-in customers requesting medical records and logs information into ROI On-Line database.
• Responds and processes requests from physician offices on a priority basis and faxes information to the physician office.
• Logs medical record requests into ROI On-Line database and scans records.
• Complies with site facility policies and regulations.
• At specified sites, handles and records cash payments for requests.
• Other duties as assigned.
