Job summary

Hartford HealthCare seeks an ROI Clerk to support the System Support Office at 435 Lewis Avenue, Midstate Med. You will process requests for medical records and itemized bills, ensuring HIPAA privacy and accurate entry in Epic to support timely processing and tracking.

Responsibilities include logging cases in ROI, validating requests, and providing courteous customer service to patients, attorneys, insurers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 2-3 years’ Clerical experience in a Health Care setting.
• Knowledge of release of information regulations, both Federal and State.

Responsibilities

• Process requests for medical records and itemized bill copies promptly.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and privacy protections.
• Provide high-quality customer service via phone, fax, mail or in-person.
• Maintain ROI records and perform quality assurance checks.
