Datavant is seeking a detail-oriented ROI Health Information Specialist I to support a medical facility in Falls Church, VA. The role is full-time and onsite, with a schedule of 8:00 AM–4:30 PM EST, Monday–Friday.

You will handle ROI requests, HIPAA compliance, and PHI releases while collaborating with healthcare staff and patients. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and strong English communication, with experience in EMR systems and data entry to ensure

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent from an Accredited Institute recognized by the State Dept. of Education.
• Experience with EMR systems is preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong data entry and detail-oriented approach.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Willingness to work onsite at Falls Church, VA.

Responsibilities

• Process ROI requests accurately and efficiently.
• Retrieve and compile medical records from EMR systems.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance when handling PHI.
• Pull and generate reports as needed.
• Perform administrative tasks related to ROI processing.
• Maintain organized documentation and tracking of requests.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare staff, patients, and requestors.
• Provide coverage when onsite staff are out.
