Responsibilities

• Prepare job site for surveying.
• Clear brush away from survey line.
• Lay out stakes for elevations.
• Hold prism pole steady to assist the surveyor.
• Measure horizontal distances between points.
• Assist with various survey equipment.
• Willingness to travel.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As aRodmanat LJA Surveying ,you will be responsible for transporting and setting up instruments and equipment associated with surveying land and preparing job site for survey

A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE:

• Party Chief gives direction for this position
• Transport and set up instruments and equipment associated with surveying land and preparing job site for survey
• Clear brush or trees away from survey line
• Lays out stakes to prepare for elevation measurements
• Holding prism pole steady for the surveyor to help determine elevations of different points
• Measures how far different points are from each other Horizontally
• Helps with various pieces of survey equipment
• willingness to travel

REQUIRED EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

• HS Graduate or GED

• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external clients
