LJA Engineering in Florida seeks a Rodman to transport and set up survey instruments, prepare sites, and support the survey team. This hands-on role offers exposure to a broad range of clients and projects within a growing, employee-owned firm.

Responsibilities

• Transport and set up instruments and equipment associated with surveying land and preparing job site for survey.
• Clear brush or trees away from survey line.
• Lays out stakes to prepare for elevation measurements.
• Holding prism pole steady for the surveyor to help determine elevations of different points.
• Measures how far different points are from each other horizontally.
• Helps with various pieces of survey equipment.
• Willingness to travel.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

• Party Chief gives direction for this position
