Job summary

Focused Post Acute Care Partners FPACP is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the Operations team at Focused Care in Sherman, TX. You will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain physical abilities and independence.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, guiding exercise programs, and documenting patient progress. A current COTA license is required, with full-time hours available in a facility-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited college.
• Must hold a current license/registration as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assist the OT in developing and implementing patient care plans.
• Provide daily occupational therapy services to assigned patients.
• Guide patients through prescribed exercise programs to improve strength and range of motion.
• Record patient responses and progress in charts and communicate with the OT.
• Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment and equipment.
