Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Engineering Technician C to join the Rocket Test team in Camden, Arkansas. The role involves supporting production test, test article assembly, and rocket/instrumentation testing, with responsibilities covering setup, instrumenting motors, and conditioning chamber operations.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with substantial related experience, plus skills in reading blueprints, soldering, and PLC-related tasks.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Experience with PLC programming and Mil STD 810 testing preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Solder experience and/or J-STD Solder Certificate a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced Test Technicians with preparation and set up of testing site for rocket motor testing.
• Under direct guidance from a Test Engineer, load the test motor into the Test Stand.
• Instrument the test motor per the test plan under direct supervision of engineering team.
• Move test articles, assist with motor moves into Conditioning Chambers at various hours.
• Learn to set and program Conditioning Chamber temperature per Test Plan.
