Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Camden, Arkansas is hiring an Engineering Technician C to support rocket motor testing at our Camden facility. The role involves assisting with test site preparation, motor loading, instrumentation, and conditioning chamber operations under supervision of engineers.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with a safety-first mindset, gain hands-on experience with test equipment, and potentially obtain a US security clearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 6 years related experience or 2 years post-secondary with 2 years related experience.
• Preferred: PLC programming and Mil STD 810 familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced Test Technicians with preparation and setup of testing site for rocket motor testing.
• Under direct guidance from a Test Engineer, load the test motor into the Test Stand.
• Instrument the test motor per the test plan under direct supervision of engineering team.
• Assist with motor moves into Conditioning Chambers at all hours of day or night.
• Learn to set and program Conditioning Chamber temperature per Test Plan.
