Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is actively seeking an Engineering Technician C to support rocket motor testing at our Camden, Arkansas facility. The role emphasizes hands-on testing, instrumentation, and coordination with the engineering team.

You will assist test technicians, load motors into test stands, instrument motors per plan, and help move equipment into conditioning chambers, including outdoor work in all weather. A security clearance feasibility is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 6 years of related experience or 2 years post-secondary/Associate degree with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Ability to obtain a US security clearance.
• Soldering experience or related training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced Test Technicians with preparation and setup of testing site for rocket motor testing.
• Load the test motor into the Test Stand under supervision.
• Instrument the test motor per the test plan under supervision.
• Assist with motor moves into Conditioning Chambers at all hours.
• Learn to set and program Conditioning Chamber temperature per Test Plan.
• Move moderate weight as needed.
• Outdoor work in varying summer/winter conditions.
