Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0-2 years of prior related experience.
• Experience with mechanical rocket engine assembly and testing is preferred.
• Familiarity with electrical test equipment and lean 5S procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical assembly and test of engines or other components/products as assigned.
• Handle precision clean parts within a laminar flow environment.
• Perform diversified, but semi-repetitive operations following standardized methods.
• Coordinate with maintenance, supervision and/or engineers in setup and calibration of equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies and pressure testing.
• Read and interpret product drawings and process specifications.
• Establish cooperative working relationships and communicate with supervision and team.
• Prioritize work to meet critical deadlines and maintain safety procedures.
