Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Hawthorne, CA, is seeking a Propulsion Technician (RAPTOR) to assemble and test rocket hardware and related sub-assemblies. You will work with Raptor combustion devices, read technical drawings, and use precision tools in a safety- and quality-driven environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1+ year manufacturing experience, and preferably an A&P license with aerospace knowledge. The shift is 5:00 AM–3:30 PM, with overtime and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1+ years in manufacturing or related work.
  • A&P license and aerospace familiarity are preferred.
  • 2+ years on aircraft or rocket engines preferred.
  • 5+ years aerospace engines experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of pressure, temperature and flow measurement devices.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test rocket hardware and sub-assemblies per procedures.
  • Operate equipment like vacuum furnaces and proof/waterflow booths.
  • Read drawings and follow detailed work instructions precisely.
  • Use torque wrenches, micrometers and calipers for measurements.
  • Stage, install, test and de-tool major Raptor engine hardware.
  • Troubleshoot engines and cell systems and interpret test data.
