Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Propulsion Technician for the Raptor Chamber and Nozzle Assembly. The role involves assembling and testing rocket hardware, reading drawings, and following detailed instructions with safety at the forefront.

Candidate should have mechanical knowledge, be able to work autonomously on schedules, and handle tools and test data. The job requires lifting, standing, and possible overtime on first shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience staging, installing, removing propulsion engines.
• A&P license.
• 2+ years aerospace engines experience.
• 5+ years aerospace engines experience.
• Knowledge of measurement devices and propulsion engines.
• Strong math, problem solving, communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble main combustion chamber assemblies and sub-assemblies for EB/TIG welding or brazing.
• Follow procedures, specifications and test instructions.
• Operate DAVI roll former and automated TIG welding machine.
• Run machines for surface prep or thermal barrier coating.
• Read and interpret drawings and follow work instructions.
• Use torque wrenches, micrometers and calipers.
• Stage, install, test, and de-tool thrust chamber assemblies.
• Troubleshoot engines and cell systems.
