Job summary

X-Bow Systems is seeking a Program Manager to direct rocket motor development and production programs from initial customer interactions to final delivery.

The role requires self-motivated leadership to manage programs with tight timelines, leading cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain. Strong PM skills and experience in aerospace/defense are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management in aerospace/defense.
• Engineering degree required; advanced degree or PMP beneficial.
• Experience in proposal development and management.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive program plans outlining goals, timelines, resources, and budget.
• Oversee program plan execution to deliver on time, within scope and budget.
• Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality and supply chain.
• Manage resources to meet program objectives efficiently.
• Serve as primary contact for stakeholders, including executives and partners.
• Identify, analyze and mitigate risks impacting program objectives.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical) or related field

Master's degree or PMP certification advantageous
