Job summary

X-Bow Systems is seeking a Technical Program Manager (Advanced Development) to lead multiple IRAD-driven propulsion projects across aerospace and defense programs. The role reports to the VP of Advanced Development and requires coordinating cross-functional teams, managing resources, schedules, and budgets, and delivering program objectives with minimal oversight.

Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years in program management or equivalent aerospace/defense leadership roles.
Experience with solid rocket motor and missile-system development is highly desired.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; ability to work with diverse disciplines.
Security clearance preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Program Planning and Execution: develop comprehensive plans with objectives, risks, timelines, resources and budgets.
Team Leadership and Resource Management: coordinate cross-functional teams and allocate resources.
Stakeholder Communication and Engagement: be primary point of contact for stakeholders and executives.
Risk Management and Problem Solving: identify, analyze and mitigate program risks.
Quality Assurance and Compliance: ensure activities meet regulations and standards.
Safety Compliance: ensure safe program execution.
Continuous Improvement: apply lessons learned to future phases.
