Job summary

X-Bow Systems is seeking a Technical Program Manager (Advanced Development) to lead multiple IRAD efforts across propulsion, materials, electronics, and test. You will coordinate resources, guide teams, and report progress to executives while balancing scope, budget, and schedule in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The role requires a strong background in solid rocket motor and missile system development, with 8+ years in PM/engineering leadership and a Bachelor's in Engineering.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in program management or related roles in aerospace/defense.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience delivering rapid prototype/demonstrations with open-ended requirements.
• Strong project management knowledge, methods, and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Security clearance preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive program plans with objectives, risks, timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Oversee execution of plans to deliver on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Provide technical guidance to the team and manage cross-functional resources.
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, test, safety, QA, and supply chain activities.
• Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and executives.
• Identify and mitigate risks; resolve complex issues and conflicts.
• Ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
