Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Supplier Development Engineer in Manufacturing to drive supplier readiness for the Raptor program. You will lead new part introductions, determine ideal manufacturing methods, review suppliers, and establish robust processes for ramping to rate.

The role emphasizes solving high-impact manufacturing and quality challenges in a rocket production environment. The ideal candidate has a strong manufacturing background, experience with quality systems, and the ability to communicate

Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing, quality tools, and problem solving in a high-tech environment.
• Familiarity with supplier quality processes and production readiness.
• Knowledge of GD&T, CAD, and statistical methods is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical contact for rocket parts and assemblies, solving supplier challenges and mitigating risk.
• Owner of New Product Introduction for parts, selecting manufacturing methods and ramping to rate.
• Drive product improvements to reduce risk, improve manufacturability, lead times, and cost.
