Job summary
The O'Neill Group in Lower Dutchess County, New York is seeking an experienced Rock Crusher / Front-End Loader Operator to join our construction and material-processing operation. You will safely operate a front-end loader and rock-crushing and screening equipment to process, move, load, and stockpile aggregate materials.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with rock crushers, screening plants, front-end loaders, conveyors, and related heavy equipment, and is committed to safety,
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating heavy construction equipment.
- Experience operating a front-end loader.
- Ability to safely work around crushers, conveyors, screening equipment, trucks, and other heavy machinery.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to recognize unsafe conditions and potential equipment problems.
- Strong safety awareness and attention to surroundings.
- Reliable attendance and ability to report to work on time.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a construction and production team.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a front-end loader to feed rock, stone, concrete, aggregate into crushing and screening equipment.
- Operate and monitor rock crushers, screening plants, conveyors, feeders, and related processing equipment.
- Load trucks and move, organize, and maintain aggregate stockpiles.
- Monitor crusher and screening operations to maintain production efficiency and material quality.
- Complete required daily equipment inspection reports and operating documentation.
