Job summary

Potawatomi Casino Hotel Rock & Brews in Milwaukee is hiring a bartender to energize the bar, greet guests, craft drinks, and work in rhythm with the team to keep guests entertained. You will learn beverage knowledge across wine, liqueur, liquor, champagne and beer, use POS for orders, and balance transactions; 6 months bartending experience required, flexible hours, and certifications within 90 days.

Qualifications

• 6 months of bartending experience.
• Excellent communication, hospitality, interpersonal and math skills.
• Ability to obtain Responsible Alcohol and ServSafe certifications and City of Milwaukee bartender’s license within 90 days.
• Ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts, including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Below are some of the responsibilities of a Potawatomi Casino Hotel Rock & Brews Bartender:

• Mix or pour drinks per recipe cards using accurate measures and proper glassware. Fill orders for servers and serve directly to guests.
• Greet guests with a friendly acknowledgment. Assess, anticipate, and address guest needs and concerns promptly and courteously.
• Maintain complete knowledge of beverage selections to include wine, liqueur, liquor, champagne, and beer
• Operate and clean all equipment in bar areas and service stations, including beverage dispensing systems, coffee machines, and beer taps.
• Use point-of-sale (POS) system to accurately enter orders, dispense correct change, and process credit card and other transactions. Ensure proper procedures are followed for handling of financial transactions, including balancing bank to sales report

What you need:

• 6 months of bartending experience
