Linde plc in New York active in Tonawanda is seeking a plant operator responsible for safe, reliable, and efficient control room operations. You will be the primary board operator, handle alarms, and coordinate with technicians, engineers, and management daily.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to interpret Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and operate control systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate plants safely and efficiently from the central control room.
• Serve as primary board operator; respond to alarms and process upsets promptly.
• Communicate daily with technicians, lead engineers, and management to ensure alignment.
• Track trends, identify anomalies, and review processes to maintain productivity.
• Adjust settings and manage start‑ups and shutdowns as needed for safe execution.
• Collaborate with Pipeline Business Center to support pipeline efficiency and stability.
• Document changes and complete required administrative duties.
• Follow SOPs and safety policies; support safety, quality, environmental, and compliance initiatives.

• Youwill operate multiple plants safely, reliably, and efficiently from thecentral control room to support continuous performance
• You shall serve as the primary board operator, ensuring optimal plantoperations and responding promptly to alarms and process upsets
• In this role you will communicate effectively with local plant technicians,lead technicians, engineers, and management each day
• You are expected to track operational trends, identify anomalies, andreview processes to maintain productivity and reliability
• In addition you should adjust plant settings and manage equipment start‑upand shut down activities as needed to ensure safe execution
• Additionally collaborate with the Pipeline Business Center to supportpipeline efficiency and stable system performance
• Furthermore document and log operational changes while participating inrequired administrative duties
• Lastly follow Standard Operating Procedures and safety policies for regulatedprocesses while supporting all safety, quality, environmental, and complianceinitiatives
