Fleet Engineers is seeking a skilled welder to join our team in Muskegon, MI. The welder will join, fabricate, and repair metal components using a variety of welding techniques, including robotic welding with 5/6 axis systems.

The role requires experience in robotic welding, fixture setup, and blueprint reading, with a focus on quality and production standards. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and a strong safety program.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years welding experience preferred.
• 1–3 years experience in robotic welding and setup preferred.
• AWS certification preferred but not mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and program 5 and 6 axis welding robots and coordinate motion.
• Fixture and locate parts for robotic welding.
• Inspect parts against blueprints and using calipers or micrometers.
• Perform changeovers and hand weld repairs as needed.
• Troubleshoot robotic welding cells and identify failure points.
• Maintain 5S and safety practices in a quality-controlled environment.
