Job summary

ManpowerGroup seeks a Maintenance Technician - Automation Systems in Windsor, CT to lead automation-focused maintenance and troubleshooting efforts for packaging and distribution lines. The role requires hands-on leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration with the Operations Maintenance team.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, basic PC skills, and flexibility for shift work including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexible schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• At least 1 year of experience with PC competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Physical ability to move up to 49 lbs, stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks during long shifts.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead service technicians in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Support the Operations Maintenance team by designing solutions for complex problems and managing projects.
• Train, mentor, and develop service and contract technicians to enhance team capabilities.
• Promote a safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures and standards.
• Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems, including electrical and control components, to ensure optimal operation.

Our client, an industry leader in logistics and distribution, is seeking a Sr. Mech & Robotics Tech to join their team. As a Sr. Mech & Robotics Tech,you will be part of the Operations Maintenance department supporting the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Windsor, CT

Pay Range:$36.70/hr.
