Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Windsor, CT is seeking a Mech & Robotics Tech to support the Operations Maintenance team. You will repair and maintain material handling equipment and automated packaging systems, and promote safety across the site.

The role requires a high school diploma, flexibility for weekends/nights/holidays, and at least 1 year of PC experience. Competitive pay with a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems.
• Install and service automated packaging/distribution equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform preventative maintenance with accurate documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on MHE (belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays).

Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and material handling industry, is seeking a Mech & Robotics Tech to join their dedicated team. As a Mech & Robotics Tech, you will be an integral part of the Operations Maintenance team supporting the efficient functioning of automated systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Windsor, CT

Pay Range:

$30.34/hr.

What's the Job?

• Support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the facility.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Promote a safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures and standards.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with accurate documentation to ensure equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.

• At least 1 year of experience with PC competency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Physical ability to lift up to 49 lbs, stand, walk, and perform manual tasks during long shifts.
