Job summary

Boston Dynamics is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to own resolution of technical customer issues, act as the voice of Boston Dynamics' technical expertise, and escalate customer needs for issues and feature requests.

You will diagnose, troubleshoot, reproduce, and fix complex electro/mechanical equipment and software, assist with customer installations, and maintain knowledge of robot behaviors and supported hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in Engineering/Computer Science related subject.
• Proficiency in Linux-based operating systems.
• Proficiency in a high level programming language such as Python/C++.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers and internal customers for a highly technical ecosystem.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, reproduce, fix and debug complex electro/mechanical equipment, software, and networked systems.
• May be involved in customer installation and training.
• Maintain knowledge of base robot behaviors, functions and changes in supported software/hardware.
• Document software incidents, bugs, and stories for Development/QA teams.
