Job summary

Boston Dynamics is seeking a Technical Accounting and Reporting Manager to drive the integrity of our financial reporting and accounting processes amid rapid growth. You will lead technical accounting in revenue recognition, leases, and equity compensation, while maintaining the Company Accounting Manual and supporting external audits.

You will collaborate daily with IT, business operations, legal, and other accounting teams to enable efficient close cycles and robust internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required or equivalent.
• CPA or equivalent certification required.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting, preferably in high-growth tech/robotics.

Responsibilities

• Support revenue recognition, leases, stock-based compensation, and related accounting complexities.
• Monitor new accounting pronouncements and implement significant changes.
• Maintain Company Accounting Manual, ensure US GAAP/IFRS compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist month-end close, quarterly consolidation, and IFRS reporting to investors; prepare or review complex journal entries.
• Support US GAAP and IFRS audit processes with timely deliverables to auditors.
• Assist with BE-15 foreign direct investment filings and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with IT, ops, legal, and cross-functional teams to optimize ERP/CRM integrations and strengthen internal controls.
• Partner with legal and procurement to continually improve contract review processes.
