Job summary

Amazon's Fulfillment Technologies & Robotics Accounting team seeks a Senior Accountant to help build the accounting processes and systems that support growing FTR businesses. You will work with Finance, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Product, Tax, and Technology teams to craft scalable accounting solutions as new products and models launch.

You will research technical accounting questions, translate US GAAP into practical processes, and support ERP implementations, testing, and reporting

Qualifications

5+ years of finance or related analytical field experience.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.

Responsibilities

Own accounting for manufacturing and emerging FTR business initiatives, including inventory, fixed assets, capitalization, and other complex transactions.
Partner with Finance, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Product, Tax, and Technology teams to develop accounting solutions as new products and business models are launched.
Research technical accounting questions and translate U.S. GAAP requirements into practical, scalable business processes.
Support ERP implementations and finance transformation initiatives, including requirements, testing, controls, and deployment.
Identify opportunities to automate and simplify accounting processes, improve reporting, and strengthen financial controls.
Support month-end and quarter-end reporting while helping the organization identify and resolve accounting risks as the business grows.
