Job summary

Lilly is seeking a Robotics Engineer to help design and deploy robotic systems across manufacturing sites. You will work with the Robotics Platform Owner to enable material flow and data integration, troubleshooting, and site testing to ensure robust operations.

The role requires hands-on PLC programming, familiarity with cGMP, and collaboration across cross-functional teams. Travel is 50%+ domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.
  • 2+ years in robotic systems deployment.
  • Experience with automated storage and AGV/AMRs.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Knowledge of cGMP and robotics standards.

Responsibilities

  • Support design of robotic and material movement systems with the Robotics Platform Owner.
  • Collaborate across global sites to integrate robotic systems for material and data flow.
  • Oversee FAT/SAT with vendors and site teams.
  • Develop capabilities in robotics and PLC programming to troubleshoot issues.
  • Review site documentation for deployed engineering systems.
