Job summary

Lilly's Robotics team designs and oversees robotic applications across manufacturing sites worldwide. You will support design of robotic and material movement systems, integrate solutions across sites, and mentor engineers in deploying safe, compliant robotics technologies.

Qualifications include a science/engineering degree and 2+ years in automated environments, with experience in PLCs, vision systems, and CAD tools. Travel up to 50%+ is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in a science or engineering field.
• 2+ years developing and deploying robotic or automated material movement systems.
• 2+ years as an engineer in a highly automated environment.
• Experience with automated storage and retrieval systems, warehouse controls, and AGV/AMR.

Responsibilities

• Support the design of robotic and material movement systems with Robotics Platform Owner.
• Develop solutions for integrating robotic systems across manufacturing sites.
• Oversee FAT/SAT activities with vendors and sites.
• Build capabilities in robotics and PLC programming; troubleshoot issues.
• Review site documentation for engineering systems deployed to sites.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and other units on robotic deployments.
