Job summary

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles seeks a Robotics Surgery Specialist to lead the robotics program, develop services, and supervise OR staff. The RSS collaborates with physicians, nurses, and management to support mission and quality goals and participates in the Robotic Steering Committee.

The role includes nursing education, coordinating training with vendors, managing equipment and schedules, and ensuring safe, efficient patient care from surgery through discharge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• RN State License required, BLS required.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience as a circulating nurse in the operating room, preferably with robotics.
• Robotic surgery experience with ability to scrub and circulate across service lines (Cardiac, Urology, Gynecology, Thoracic, ENT, General).

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements services related to the Robotics Program.
• Provides nursing development and education to nurses and surgical technicians.
• Participates in the Robotic Steering Committee (RSC) and subcommittees; analyzes data and reports.
• Maintains equipment, budgets, and scheduling for robotic surgeries.
• Assists with setup and intraoperative support for robotic procedures.
