Job summary
UAB Medicine is seeking a clinical expert and operational leader for the Robotic Surgery Program. The role will integrate skilled nursing practice with program coordination to support safe and efficient robotic surgical care, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia, nursing, sterile processing and administrative teams.
Qualified candidates will have an Associate's degree in Nursing and at least 2 years in perioperative nursing; a Bachelor's degree is preferred, with 2+ years in robotic-assisted
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Two (2) years of perioperative nursing experience required.
- Two (2) years of experience with robotic-assisted surgery strongly preferred.
- RN license in Alabama required.
- BLS certification required.
- CNOR certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a clinical expert, educator and operational leader within the Robotic Surgery Program.
- Integrate nursing practice with program coordination to support robotic surgical care.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, nursing, sterile processing and admin teams to optimize operations and outcomes.
