Persona AI in Houston is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management to design, build, and scale an end-to-end supply chain function from the ground up. The role requires establishing infrastructure, processes, metrics, and teams in a fast-moving startup environment, with a track record of building supply chain organizations and driving make-vs-buy decisions.

You will lead strategic sourcing, supplier qualification, vendor partnerships, and the implementation of ISO/compliance

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in supply chain/related field.
10+ years experience in purchasing/procurement/supply chain in manufacturing.
Experience buying mechanical, electrical, cables, boards, and materials/components.
Understanding of manufacturing processes, electronics/robotics/precision manufacturing.
Proven ability to negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms.

Responsibilities

Design the supply chain organization from scratch (sourcing, procurement, planning, logistics).
Develop supplier footprint, logistics, and warehousing strategy for scalable delivery to manufacturing site.
Establish supplier qualification processes and metrics; manage RFx processes.
Lead vendor partnerships, scorecards, and supplier performance reviews.
Implement SOPs, KPI data collection, and ISO/regulatory compliance.
