Hadrian is building autonomous factories to accelerate aerospace and defense manufacturing. We seek a reliability-focused engineer to own the end-to-end reliability of robotics systems across PLCs, ROS2, and Kubernetes.

You will build telemetry interfaces, diagnostic tools, and production-grade services with cross-team collaboration. Ideal candidates are systems thinkers with a strong programming background in TS, Python, Go, or C++, and experience at scale with edge/on-prem deployments and

Qualifications

• Ownership of reliability of a production system with physical/operational consequences.
• Systems thinking approach to interrelated subsystems and durable solutions.
• Problem solving for complex, scalable engineering challenges.
• Proficient with Kubernetes, IaC, and GitOps; strong coding skills in TS/Python/Golang/C++.

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability of robotics systems from PLCs through ROS2/middleware to Kubernetes.
• Build interfaces to observability to ingest telemetry; leverage Prometheus, Telegraf, OpenTelemetry, Datadog.
• Write code frameworks and tools to support controls and robotics; include diagnostics and telemetry libraries.
• Collaborate with controls, robotics, and platform teams to bake reliability in early and set SLOs/SLIs.
