Job summary

Amazon is seeking an exceptional Senior Manager, Software Development to own and drive SW integration and validation on simulation and emulation platforms, and to own test strategy, plans and safety for next‑generation robotics systems.

You will partner with internal robotics teams and our simulation group, shaping product design from concept to deployment, and defining a scalable test roadmap with automation and validated sim-to-real measurements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 10+ years delivering consumer software experiences.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs and teams in Agile.
• Experience partnering with product or program management.
• 10+ years with embedded device/OS in FW/SW or test engineering.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Architectural Vision for Software Validation.
• Adversary Testing & Platform Integration and robustness testing.
• Setting HIL test beds and continuous validation; building CICD pipelines.
• Virtualized dynamic environments for field testability and rapid iteration.
• Safety qualification through simulation and compliance with safety standards.
