Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC seeks a Senior Manager, Software Development to own SW integration and validation on simulation and emulation platforms, and to define test strategy including safety for next-gen robotics systems.

You will partner with internal robotics teams, our simulation team, and influence product design from concept through production deployment. This role requires deep knowledge of simulation platforms and scalable testing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 10+ years planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs and teams in Agile.
• Experience partnering with product/program management teams.
• 10+ years of experience with embedded device/OS, FW/SW or test engineering development.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive software integration and validation on simulation/emulation platforms.
• Define test strategy and plans including safety for robotics systems.
• Build partnerships with robotics teams, simulation team and product leadership.
• Shape product architecture for testability and automation; guide roadmap.
