Job summary

Cagayan State University is seeking engineers to extend and maintain a robotics software framework for autonomous systems. You will write new code and troubleshoot, with occasional deployment visits to customer sites to collect data and validate performance.

The ideal candidate has robotics experience, ROS2 expertise, and a track record in large-scale robot software development, with preferred hands-on field deployment exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in robotics or related discipline.
• Prior experience with robotics.
• Knowledge of ROS2.
• Experience in large scale robot software development.
• Preference for some field deployment experience.

Responsibilities

• Write new code to expand the existing software framework for autonomous robots.
• Maintain current software systems.
• Make deployment visits to participants' homes.
• Troubleshoot the robotic system as needed.
• Collect and analyze data for dissemination.
