Job summary

REV Robotics, a fast-growing educational robotics company in Carrollton, TX, is seeking a college student intern to provide software support for new and existing products, focusing on embedded software or end-user libraries. You’ll work closely with REV engineers and administration, testing, debugging, and documenting software as needed.

This internship offers hands-on experience with firmware, libraries, and example programs, plus a chance to contribute to robot projects and educational

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Engineering, CS or Engineering Technology.
• Experience with FIRST Robotics or similar robotics program preferred.
• Git/GitHub experience is a plus.
• Proficient in programming with IDEs (VS Code, JetBrains, Android Studio, etc.).
• Able to follow directions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexible schedule and good time management.
• Customer service experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to firmware for specific products and parts.
• Add to libraries used by students for programming.
• Assist in creating example programs for teaching.
• Assist with programming demos and prototype products & robots.
• Assist with product testing, evaluation, and documentation.
• Other tasks to support REV’s goals.
