Job summary

REV Robotics, located in Carrollton, TX, is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to provide 3D CAD design and assist with prototype development. You will help assemble, test, and document products while collaborating with REV engineers and staff in a hands-on environment.

The role is for a current bachelor’s student in Engineering or Engineering Technology, with SOLIDWORKS CAD experience and strong time-management skills. On-site in Carrollton, TX.

Qualifications

• Current student enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• Two years of FIRST Robotics or similar robotics program experience preferred.
• CAD design experience with SOLIDWORKS required.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexible schedule and strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical 3D CAD design for specific products and parts.
• Assist with designing and building prototype products.
• Assemble products and parts.
• Assist with product testing and evaluation and create documentation.
• Operate production equipment as needed.
• Other responsibilities to support REV’s goals.
