Job summary

REV Robotics in Carrollton, TX is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to design and develop embedded circuits for educational robot products, including motor drivers, sensors, controllers, and human interface devices. You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with software and mechanical teams to ensure robust, manufacturable designs.

Qualifications

• 3+ motor controller development for sensor and sensorless architectures.
• 1+ year ESP32 development experience.
• 3-5 years in an electrical engineering role with increasing responsibility.
• Electrical design with digital circuits, switching regulators, USB, CAN/CAN-FD, serial interfaces, sensors.
• Embedded software development with ARM MCUs and hardware-software interaction.
• Board bring-up and root-cause analysis.
• Proficiency in Altium, LTspice, STM CubeMX/IDE.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Basic embedded C/C++ development.
• EMI/EMC compliance and debugging.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement embedded electrical systems for robot components.
• Lead development and maintenance of electrical parts libraries and ERP integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration.
• Conduct design reviews for functionality, safety, manufacturability.
• Mentor junior engineers to foster growth and learning.
• Resolve customer technical issues with the support team.
• Validate designs using oscilloscopes, analyzers, power supplies.
• Stay updated on industry safety standards and best practices.
