Job summary

CircuitHub is transforming electronics manufacturing with The Grid, a factory-scale robotics platform delivering high-mix, small-batch production at scale.

This senior role focuses on architecting robot software, integrating vision, and deploying large models inside robots to improve reliability and throughput. You will enable real-time control and end-to-end observability across the system.

Qualifications

• Have worked on, and ideally architected, a large-scale robot code base that ran on real hardware in production.
• Strong software engineering in Python and Rust (or C++ with Rust). Focus on types, testing, concurrency, architecture.

Responsibilities

• Architect the robot operating system: modeling robots, tools and jobs; planning and dispatching; state sharing; fault handling.
• Bring in new vision by integrating computer vision into the control loop for pick/place accuracy.
• Build agentic robotics: deploy large models in-robot tasks, from datasheets to fault recovery with verifications.
• Move a fleet: coordinate dozens of movers, gantries, printers and ovens without collisions.
• Bridge to real time: design interfaces between high-level planning and real-time controllers.
• Make it observable: simulate, trace, replay to prove changes before factory deployment.
