Job summary

CircuitHub, Inc. is building The Grid, a factory-scale robotics platform for small-batch electronics assembly. We seek an experienced software architect to design the robot operating system, model robots, cameras, tools and jobs, and decide what belongs in Python versus Rust.

You will help bring in vision, integrate models into the control loop, and enable fleet movement with collision-free coordination. This role requires hands-on experience with large-scale robot code in production, strong

Qualifications

• Large-scale robot software in production
• Strong Python and Rust (or C++)
• Experience with vision/ML in robotics
• Hands-on with multi-robot planning and perception
• Ability to own software from design to deployment

Responsibilities

• Architect the robot operating system and model robots, cameras, tools, and jobs
• Integrate vision algorithms into the control loop for production reliability
• Develop agentic robotics with model-driven parts and self-checks
• Coordinate fleet movements with collision-free planning across devices
• Design interfaces between high-level planning and real-time controllers
• Make systems observable with simulation, tracing, and replay
