Genesis is a full-stack general-purpose robot company. We seek a Social Media Editor to own our brand across X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and more, translating research and hardware work into engaging, accurate posts for researchers, labs, and prospective hires.

You'll work with engineering and founders to capture lab work, edit videos, and publish thoughtful threads that showcase Genesis's leadership in robotics.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a technical organization's social channels.
• Ability to derive a story from research papers or hardware reviews.
• Hands-on short-form video production or directing others.
• Strong writing across posts and technical threads.
• Editorial judgment on publish readiness and privacy.
• Track record building relationships with researchers and open-source contributors.
• Understanding of channel analytics and audience quality.
• Bonus: robotics or embodied AI coverage.
• Bonus: supporting founder-led content while preserving voices.

Responsabilités

• Run Genesis' social channels, starting with X and extending to LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms.
• Capture and edit short videos from the lab and field, planning footage with engineers.
• Turn research and model-training work into technical threads around findings or lessons.
• Spend time with founders to capture work and develop founder-led posts with authentic voices.
• Engage researchers and the open-source community with replies and credit contributors.
• Coordinate launch-day publishing with product marketing and prepare assets.
• Review footage for platform suitability, autonomy, and data rights with customer approval.
• Measure reach and engagement to inform next week's content plan.
