Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to evaluate, repair, and assemble SMT and robotic assembly equipment. You will use diagnostic tools, read schematics, and perform preventive maintenance across multiple machines in a high-precision environment.

Ideal candidates have a 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience, 2–4 years in related roles, and strong teamwork as well as self-direction. This role is on-site and offers growth within a global EMS leader.

Qualifications

• Associate's or technical degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years of related experience required.
• Experience with SMT and robotic assembly equipment preferred.
• Ability to work in both team environment and self-directed.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and technical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment per plans/manuals.
• Uses test/diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
• Repairs electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical parts for SMT/robotic equipment.
• Troubleshoots issues in work cells with up to 5 machines.
• Creates spare parts lists and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Performs general building maintenance and related duties.
