Job summary

Sanmina Corporation in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment in a PCB manufacturing environment. The role requires mechanical, electrical and plumbing skills, plus the ability to read blueprints and schematics and to relocate equipment as needed.

Ideal candidates will have 2–4 years in a production facility, strong electrical and PLC knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years in a production facility, preferably PCB shop background.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems for installations and repairs.
• Knowledge of electronics and PLC controls.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment including chemical process systems and CNC mechanical systems.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

What You'll Do

The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment in a PCB Manufacturing environment.

Nature Of Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform projects that require mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills.
• Relocate equipment and services for manufacturing equipment.
• Repair, replace walls and other related items for incoming new equipment.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Support process engineering on improvement projects. Install \"new\" equipment for increased capacity or replacement.
• Support facility cost reduction / security / improvement projects.

What You'll Bring

• Minimum 2-4 years of related experience in a production facility (prefer Printed Circuit Board shop background).
• Must have strong knowledge of electrical systems for installations and repairs.
• Knowledge of electronics and PLC controls.
• Must be able to read blueprints and schematics.
• Prior work experience with manufacturing equipment in the field of chemical process systems, CNC mechanical systems and general facility utilities such as compressors, chillers and boilers.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced production environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift and carry products and/or equipment of up to 50 lbs.
• Must have good writing, reading and verbal communication skills.

The base pay range for this role is between $43,680.00 and $54,080.00 and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
