Job summary

Sanmina Corporation in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment in a PCB manufacturing environment. The role requires mechanical, electrical and plumbing skills, plus the ability to read blueprints and schematics and to relocate equipment as needed.

Ideal candidates will have 2–4 years in a production facility, strong electrical and PLC knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years in a production facility, preferably PCB shop background.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems for installations and repairs.
• Knowledge of electronics and PLC controls.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment including chemical process systems and CNC mechanical systems.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Good writing, reading and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment in a PCB manufacturing environment.
• Perform projects requiring mechanical, electrical and plumbing skills; relocate equipment as needed.
• Repair walls and other items for new equipment; perform preventative maintenance.
• Support process engineering on improvement projects and install new equipment for capacity increases.
• Support facility cost reduction, security and improvement projects.
