Job summary

Avride is hiring a hands-on Robot Service Technician in Winston-Salem, NC to assemble, maintain, troubleshoot, and operate autonomous delivery robots. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:30pm and involves field support, on-site deployments, and collaboration with our team.

You will work with LiDAR, cameras, and sensors, and ensure quality through documentation and procedures. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, participate in deployment testing, and support inventory and

Qualifications

• Experience using mechanical and electrical tools
• Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings and schematics
• Experience assembling/disassembling electromechanical systems
• Experience installing and integrating custom electronic modules
• Understanding of AC/DC electrical systems and safe practices
• Valid driver's license with clean record

Responsibilities

• Assemble wiring harnesses, cables, and connectors for autonomous robots
• Install and configure sensors (LiDAR, cameras, ultrasonic)
• Perform mechanical/electrical assembly of components
• Follow technical docs and procedures for quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance and preventive service
• Diagnose failures and perform repairs on robot systems
• Travel locally to provide onsite technical support and deployments
• Assist with inventory, parts organization, and rapid prototyping
