Job summary

LionsBot International is seeking Robotics Service Technicians to join our field team across North America. You will travel regularly to customer sites, install, calibrate, and service robots, and provide remote support when not on site.

Ideal candidates hold a related engineering degree and have 2+ years in mechanical/electrical fields, plus 1+ years in customer service. A valid driver’s license and insured vehicle are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in robotics, mechatronics, electrical, electronic, mechanical, IT or equivalent.
  • 2+ years in electrical, electronic, or mechanical fields.
  • 1+ years in customer service in-person or remotely.
  • Experience leading adult training.
  • Regular North America travel (80%+).
  • Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle for travel.
  • Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer sites regularly and provide remote technical support.
  • Work from a residential office when not traveling.
  • Assist with onsite sales trials, demonstrations and deployments.
  • Commission robots on-site: map creation/design, zone cleaning programming, testing and calibration.
  • Train and certify customers in robot use.
  • Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting and service to customer inquiries.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams for troubleshooting.
  • Document service visits and communications.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cleaning robot technology.

Our Robotics Service Technicians

partner with our US customers to assist with all technical and servicing situations to ensure top client satisfaction. These field professionals travel regularly (80%+) within the United States.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (not Exhaustive)
  • Traveling to customer sites regularly as well as providing remote technical customer support
  • Working from residential office when not traveling
  • Providing technical support for onsite sales trials, demonstrations, and deployments
  • Commissioning of robots on-site: map creation/design, cleaning zones programming, testing and functional calibration
  • Training and certifying customers in use of robots
  • Providing technical services and troubleshooting support (onsite and remote) to all inquiries/faults encountered by the customers
  • Collaborating with the internal Engineering teams for troubleshooting and resolution
  • Documenting service situations and outcomes for each onsite visit, customer calls, and/or emails
  • Retaining subject matter expertise with the latest cleaning robot technology and advancement in order to enhance customer satisfaction
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in robotics/mechatronics, electrical, electronic, mechanical, information technology or equivalent focus of study
  • 2+ years of working experience in electrical, electronic, or mechanical fields
  • 1+ years of professional experience performing customer service in-person and/or remotely
  • Previous working experience leading adult training
  • Ability to regularly travel throughout North America (80%+)
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis
  • Holds a valid Driver's License
  • Has an insured reliable vehicle (to travel to local customer sites)
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer
  • Successfully fulfill pre-employment onboarding requirements including background checks for criminal and motor vehicle records
Preferred Qualifications
  • Firm technical knowledge/experience of diagrams, engineering schematics and/or electrical diagrams
  • Prior experience in technical sales and/or technical after-sales support
  • Proven work history of creating strong business relationships
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Resourceful and creative problem-solver
  • Able to work successfully independently as well as part of an agile team
  • Eager to learn with a customer-centric approach
  • Detail oriented and high organizational skills
