Job summary

ArcBest seeks a Principal Product Manager for Robotics Safety and Compliance to drive end-to-end product lifecycle across the Vaux Smart Autonomy robotics portfolio. You will translate customer insights into clear requirements and guide engineering, safety, and commercialization teams to deliver safe, scalable autonomy solutions.

You will own safety/compliance strategies, lead certification planning, manage roadmaps and pricing, and communicate progress to leadership while enabling sustainable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in robotics, engineering, CS or related field required.
• Master's degree or MBA preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in robotics, autonomy, or industrial automation products.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategy into multi-horizon product roadmaps and detailed requirements.
• Lead safety and compliance strategy for robotics systems and certifications.
• Oversee hazard analysis, risk mitigation, and validation planning for certifications.
• Collaborate with engineering to embed safety across hardware and software lifecycle.
• Manage OEM/supplier relationships to support certifications and scalability.
• Provide leadership and communicate progress to leadership and stakeholders.
• Develop VOC programs, evaluate live deployments, and refine roadmaps based on data.
